Internet Training
Our on-line training lessons require approximately 2 hours to complete. Please note that the on-line training area is secure and we would be happy to provide you with a login when appropriate. The complete software training manual is available for download in Adobe Acrobat format anytime. We have divided the Gold Dental on-line training into six comprehensive lessons.
Remote Training
We are pleased to offer remote, web based training with a Gold Trainer. This is a great option for training new staff or to improve knowledge of specifc Gold functions. Please contact us for more details.
On-site Training
For our new clients, the training for our software requires approximately 4-8 hours total. Here's a breakdown of the sessions and what's involved with each one:
Introduction to our software
The time required to fulfill this phase depends on the number of patients with outstanding balances.
- 2-4 hours
- How to enter patient data & insurance information
- Oversight of patient data entry and balances
Posting charges and payments
The time required to complete this phase depends on the number of staff, patient data, etc.
- 1-2 hours
- Learn to correct errors
- An introduction to reporting
Starting Balance Reconciliation
This step is optional. You may continue to run your old software to track previous accounts.
- 3-5 hours
- Balances need to be entered for all patients if the data was not converted
- This job is done immediately prior to going on line
Going Live
Gold support staff will spend at least one day in the office to make sure new users are comfortable
